[請益] a bit of a problem 的problem前面的 "a"

我知道是 "a bit of a problem"

剛有人問我 為何 problem前面要加 a 不能用problems嗎?

我只知道美語都這樣用

可是我不知道如何解釋 不加a是錯誤的 也從沒聽過 +problems

這應該如何解釋 "a bit of a problem"
