標題[文法] 冠詞問題

Australia is in the southern part of world on bottom half of globe.
這是澳洲教堂的一堂英文討論主題出現的句子
想請問兩個關於冠詞的小問題
首先為什麼world前面不需要加上the, 而我去google搜尋 "southern part of world"的
結果確實也比"southern part of the world"多, 有點意外。
第二, bottom前面是否需要加the--> on the bottom half, 我自己第一個冒出來的念頭
需要加, 但本句並沒有。
