請問高手們一個英文觀念問題
(就算不是高手也歡迎參與討論)
as of / as from / as at的異同
我有爬文了
但是還是想來這裡請教高手確認
我的認知是
as of = as from
=截至....時候為止
或是
=從......時候開始
(取決於句子的上下文)
例句一：
As of Jan 1st 2019, the new traffic rules will take effect.
(2019年元旦起，新的交通規則會生效。)
例句二：
As of Jan 1st 2019, the number of people killed due to the old traffic rules
is 159.
(截至2019年元旦，因舊的交通規則而喪命的人有159人。)
(好像不同的英語系國家的人用法會有所不一樣)
所以想請問一下各位高手.....
as of / as from / as at的異同
事情是不是如我所講的

→ gentianpan: 於即日起生效」，翻譯時沒加個「起」，極可能順稿時 08/30 15:49
→ gentianpan: 會被補上去。我覺得是「於」通用的介系詞而以=at, on 08/30 15:49
