[文法] 一段句子文法 （請詳解）

I knew the chances of finding my daughter were cut in half after 36 hours of "
her being reported missing."

我想請問
of後面要接名詞性質的詞，字或句子
可是being reported雖然是"被報導"的意思
但reported很明顯就是動詞性質
這樣不符合介系詞後的用法不是嗎？
