最近念到一篇文章裡有一段
Hillary shot to her feet and exclaimed “I’m gonna do something about this.
” She walked out of the cafeteria,
posse in tow, and made her way to the
phone booth. She took out a dime, put it in the payphone, asked the operator
for the number for the mayor’s office, and dialed it without hesitation.
請問在這裡的 posse in tow 是什麼意思呢?
在英文裡好像不是常用的片語
google也找不太到什麼東西
只知道posse大概是一夥人、小團體的意思
請問有板友能夠解答詳細嗎 謝謝!
