說說我的想法，
首先 i.e. 來自於拉丁文，
一般會說等同 that is，
也就是「也就是」的意思，
所以如果你有要特別表達「也就是」的時候，
就可以加 i.e.
以下分別解釋：
※ 引述《iplfl (living for love)》之銘言：

這裡要表達錯誤率大大地低於 chance，
我覺得這邊的 chance 有點像是或然率，
一般平均機率為 1/2 = 50%，
所以作者在表達時就直接在括號中寫上「也就是」50%
: (2).
: Subjects either actively memorize (memory) or passively received
: (non-memory) visual stimuli.
這邊我覺得在說主動記憶或是被動接收視覺刺激，
作者沒特別要表達「也就是」，
所以就只是在括號中加註前者為「記憶」，
後者為「非記憶」這樣吧。
: 為什麼(1)有i.e.但(2)卻沒有?
: 是否是因為 在(2)當中
: memory 跟 non-memory 兩種 task 是作者自己定義的
: 所以不用?
