原文： In the age of globalization, HIV is among the most cosmopolitan of
life form, at home the world over.

前半句譯文：在全球化的時代，人類免疫不全症病毒是最國際化的生物

context:各國不論用什麼手段想要把愛滋病擋在國界之外都徒勞無功，
所以說愛滋病很國際化。

問題：後半句at home the world over是什麼意思？要怎麼翻比較好？
我查了the world over大概是"throughout the world"的意思，但和前面at home
要怎麼接起來？><
