各位好，今天在The Washington Post上看到了這一句
During a recent two-year period, almost 23 percent of U.S. adults ages 18 to 59 had a type of genital human papillomavirus(HPV)...
想請教的是age的用法
一開始以為是筆誤才會有兩個動詞
（ages/had)
但外國人說ages在這裡是名詞卻沒說為什麼
我也查不到相關用法
是不是把ages改成aging比較好呢？
懇請各位解惑
