標題[文法] (高手請進！) the + adj (2/2)

怕討論串混亂，所以分開問 (2/2)
請問高手們一個英文文法問題
(就算不是高手也歡迎參與討論)
有關 the + adj 的問題
賀立民文法書：

the beautiful = beauty (我可以理解)
the good = goodness (我也可以理解)
我的問題是....
因為 the rich = rich people
那.....
The beautiful可以解釋成 beautiful people嗎？
The good可以解釋成 good people嗎？
例如
The beautiful are not always the good.
(美人未必總是善人)
還有書上的the wise = wisdom people
那我可以造下面這樣的句子嗎？
The wise is not always available.
the wise = wisdom (可以嗎？？？)
我覺得都可以
但是我不確定
所以想請教高手們
