[請益] or so of high or low

原文:at any given time, every signal in the circuit is at one of these two
voltages. For most circuit components, voltages within a volt "or so of high"
or low are good enough.

想請問這邊的so是什麼意思。感覺是很口語的用法，但是還是想要請教有沒有正規一點的
角度切入的方法，謝謝。
