[單字] orient的用法

The 500 homes here are powered by solar energy, yet oriented to avoid direct s
unlight inside.

這句話是出自於CNN，
想問的是orient to是介系詞的to，
後面應該要to + Ving吧
是不是改成
oriented to avoiding direct sunlight
才是對的 ?
