大家好，請教一下
在Dictionary.com中有這樣的解釋：
person
noun
(Sociology) an individual human being, especially with reference to his or
her social relationships and behavioral patterns as conditioned by the
culture.
------
想問的是，這裡的....as conditioned by the culture.
這裡的as是連接詞，相當於in the way in which（照....方式）

但我不太懂as後面省略的用法，如果寫成：
1. '...as are conditioned by the culture.'
2. '...as they are conditioned by the culture.'
這樣也都是對的嗎？
因為這是把主詞、be動詞都省略了，不太懂這方面的文法，想請教一下。謝謝！
PEU 3rd 177.7有說：
標題comparative structures with 'as' and 'than'
說明We can leave out words after 'as' and 'than', if the meaning is clear.
例句The weather isn't as good as last year. (= as it was last year.)
但這是講「比較的結構」，好像和我那句不太一樣...？
