[請益] the rest/remaining/remainder of

如題，想請問 the rest of 、 the remaining of 和 the remainder of 的差異。



之前聽澳洲老師說前兩個片語的差別在後面接可數或不可數，

聽一聽實在不記得了......

以前在書上看過 the rest of the day 的用法，

所以 the remaining of 後面是接可數嗎？



這陣子跟外國店家通信時，

看過 the remaining of the money 和 the remainder of $xxx 的字句，

讓我越來越混亂了。

上網查，有看到網友說這三個片語是意思的不同，

就像 be going to 和 will 不同，

但也沒有太詳盡的解釋，希望這裡有高手能幫忙解答，謝謝。
