[求譯] 換檔的時候會「頓一下」的英文

如題，
想要提醒沒乘坐過檔車的朋友：「車子在行進間換檔時會頓一下」這句話

就是整台車&車上的人都會有一點震 那種感覺

不曉得這句要怎麼說呢？感謝各位
