[請益] 這邊的that是修飾誰

請問這個that是修飾IPMI還是computer subsystem?

我看了很多文章，好像沒有一定的規則。

這個句子是S+V+C

S是IPMI，V是is，C是a set of....for an....sub

我認為可以調換一下順序，把that移到PIMI的後面，所以這句的S應該是IPMI that...
and operating system.

但好像也有看過that真的是修飾C裡面的受詞的

請問該怎麼從文法上辦別呢?還是真的只能靠語意?

that是修飾a set of computer interface specifications
為什麼不是IPMI也不是subsystem呢?

1. relative pronoun是用來修飾最近的名詞，所以不是IPMI

那既然這樣，最近的名詞應該是subsystem啊?為什麼也不是呢?

因為不能只單看subsystem，要看整句"for an antonomous computer subsystem"，這句是
用來補充a set of computer interface specifications的
所以主角才是specification，並不是subsystem。
