We sell cheap food, and moreover the quality of the food is good. We sell cheap food, and moreover the food is of good quality. When you cast a void * to a pointer to a specific type, you as the programmer are asserting that the data is of the type you're casting it to. When you cast a void * to a pointer to a specific type, you as the programmer are asserting that the type of the data is you're casting it to.
