[文法] 分詞構句主被動疑問

[Asasin (Assassin)]

 _____ with global financial crisis, the authority concerned has to come up
with a plan to deal with the potential problems that may occur in the near
future.
(A) Face
(B) Facing
(C) Faced
(D) Had faced

這題答案是C，老師解釋是主詞被危機找到而不是主動去找危機，所以選p.p.

這個邏輯我可以懂但用中文解釋就是怪怪的

因為中文習慣說"面臨危機"語感上是主動，所以很想用Facing

不知道有沒有什麼方式可以換句話說來解釋這種情況?

還是說就只能死背?
