截取至BBC English, 其中這句為何不是 I am wondering if I could ......而是 I was wondering.....?
Yes, and I was wondering if I could ask you a massive favour, which is would you mind popping in and feeding the cats while I'm away?
In this clip, Catherine checks that Neil isn't busy and then she asks a favour. She's going on holiday and she wants Neil to feed her cats while she's away.
EXAMPLE

Catherine
