標題[文法] 請教幾個句字

以下幾題有點疑惑，還請各位幫個忙看看 1. 時態 Salt was thought of as the best way to preseve the food. 我的疑問是 能不能用現在簡單式表一個大家都知道的事實? 如 Salt is .... 2. 化減子句 When taken to the hospital, he had already passed out. 原始的句子是下面嗎? When he was taken to ..... 有沒有可能把when也一起拿掉?
