[請益] 所有格 V.S 複合名詞

小弟不才，長期受此問題困惑。
請問前輩們：
The price of gas is rising (天然氣的價格上升）
The price of gas 可以寫成 The gas price 嗎？
這兩者語意上有很大的差異嗎？
