The man sitting next to me on the plane was very nervous. He (hadn’t flown) b
efore.

括號中為什麼不能用didn’t fly呢？

The flies were then spread onto a piece of white paper _________ and counted.


 答案是to be examined 請問為什麼不能用being examined呢？

（Despite）these major operations against cybercrime, we are still seeing a br
azen and thriving underground economy in the region.

請問這個句子括號中為何用 Despite 呢？
這樣不是沒有連接詞嗎？
沒有連接詞的前提下，逗點前的動詞一個是against 後面則是be動詞are 這樣文法不是就
不符合分詞構句了嗎？

nforcement efforts.

請問括號中為什麼 committed 要加 been 這樣不是變被動式嗎 （被承諾？）  為何不是
主動 另外to 後面接的protect為什麼要加ing呢？

推 jtmh: Despite 是介係詞，後面接受詞，against 不是動詞是介係詞，
→ jtmh: 可以查一下 despite 的用法。
→ jtmh: be committed to + N 是固定用法，若後面接動作則加 ing 變
→ jtmh: 動名詞，這也可查一下用法。
→ jtmh: 第二題撒到白紙上要做什麼？檢查並計算，表用途用 to+V

→ cuylerLin: 過去式更早的過去完成式比較恰當(context的合理性)
