[文法] 不能有比較級的形容詞 (2/2)

<討論一個比較級的問題 20190719> (2/2)

賴世雄老師文法書：

書中說：「superior、inferior、senior與junior沒有比較級」

真的嗎？

David is inferior, but Ben is more inferior.
(David很廢，但Ben更廢。)

Mr.A is senior but Mr.B is more senior to him.
(A先生很高階/資深，但是B先生比他更高階/資深。)

我怎麼覺得可以有比較級@@

推 s831111: 書的意思應該是這幾個字本身已經有比較....的意思了，所
→ s831111: 以不會再加more （贅字感）

推 orfan: 可以從語意邏輯去思考 而非只是認為文法只是公式套字
我懂了

純就邏輯上來探討，某些字用比較級可能有語病....
但是溝通上無礙

→ bloedchen: 書裡我沒看到「superior、inferior、senior與junior沒
→ bloedchen: 有比較級」這句話。是不是沒拍到?
→ bloedchen: 我覺得書是在說「he is more inferior than you.」這
→ bloedchen: 樣的句型是錯的。要用介係詞to -> he is inferior to y
→ bloedchen: ou，而不是不能加more (藍色字的部分)
→ bloedchen: po文中例句加more我覺得是另外的意思。跟書裡想說的mor
→ bloedchen: e than有點不一樣。
