[請益] as much as vs although

早上開車時聽到 ICRT 的主持人說

"I don't have dogs, as much as I like dogs"

語意上聽起來 as much as = although

剛剛進辦公室後稍微 google 了一下
某些字典直接用 although 或 even though 當作 as much as 的解釋

但也有一些討論串說母語者會覺得這兩者有所不同，但從討論串中我看不出本質上的差異
