[單字] gameshow 是什麼？

我剛剛在讀維基百科的「game show」的頁面

game show是「遊戲節目(尤指益智節目)」

我大致是懂

只是有一段文字我不懂

這段話是什麼意思？......是指說「gameshow(連在一起寫)」是表示其他東西嗎？

假如是指其他東西，是指什麼呢？
