題目

From the 1500s to the mid-nineteenth century ,a period known as the Little
Ice Age , tree rings show that the climate in western North America was much
colder than normal. That favored the grass bison eat ,and they decreased .
When a long, widespread drought ended the Little Ice Age in the mid-1800s ,
the grassed _____ and the bison population crashed.

有三個選項
improved
spread
changed

我選的是 spread 答案卻是 changed

我的觀點因為 bison 愛吃草 , 所以草 decreased
所以當 bison 數量急遽下降導致 grass spread
