[文法] 要不要加the？

  Instead of figuring out what exactly happened, I became one of
  those who treated her unfairly because I was so afraid that I
  would be next victim for being friendly to her.


  請問第三行用

  I would be next victim

  或是

  I would be the next victim

  哪個正確呢？
