[單字] Pertinence

這個單字我用 google 翻譯查詢的時候翻成針對性，

用 cambridge 查比較像是屬於相關性、有關性，

由於我想要翻的句子是：
我們測定了這個方法的針對性
（也就是這個方法只會針對我們想要解決的問題，而不會誤觸其他部分）

不知道這個句子中的針對性可否適用 Pertinence？

看 Cambridge 的英文翻譯似乎有那麼一點像我要表達的，

但還是不太確定能否這樣使用
