[文法] 這句話錯誤的地方

想請教一下，我在寫作時遇到的問題，請人批改後被註記

下面兩句話有文法錯誤，希望各位幫忙指出，感謝

Despite the two figures staying static between 1950 and 1954,
both of them started from 1920 had the opposite trends and
balanced perfectly at 50% in 2000.

In 2015, those figures had a different pattern decreasing the
gap by nearly 10%.
