『原子習慣』作者如何善用類似句型結構產出漂亮英文
最近在看英文版的原子習慣 (Atomic Habits)，
讀一讀突然覺得原子習慣用的英文句子好適合模仿起來啊～
作者 James Clear 用的單字都不難，加上用了大量類似句型排比舉例，
句子讀起來有一種韻律感，很容易理解他想講甚麼
(他應該私底下花超多時間偷練英文寫作吧 XD)
底下來分享我最近很有感覺的一句話，
我會拆解句型結構並示範要怎麼模仿出類似的英文句子喔～

作者原句拆解
★It’s easy to overestimate the importance of one defining moment and
underestimate the value of making small improvements.
我們很容易高估某個關鍵時刻的重要性，然後低估做出許多微小進步的價值
這句話分兩個部分：
“overestimate the importance of one defining moment”
跟
“underestimate the value of making small improvements.”
仔細觀察這兩個部份其實長超像，是貼著同一個架構寫出來的：
1. 主要動詞用 “overestimate (高估)” 跟 “underestimate (低估)” 來對比兩句話
2. 而在主要動詞後面，用的都是 “the + 名詞 + of” 這個結構：
→ the importance of ( …的重要性)
→ the value of ( …的價值)
3. 最後在 “the..of” 後面作者都接上了一組 “形容詞+名詞” ：
→ defining moment (關鍵時刻)
→ small improvements (微小進步)
一旦讓自己鎖在某個架構底下照樣造句，英文產出的速度會快很多～
我來照樣造句模仿出我的版本
▼It’s easy to overestimate the outcome of one big marketing campaign and
underestimate the power of day-to-day content build-up.
我們很容易高估某個大型行銷活動的成效，然後低估日復一日產出內容的力量
1. 我一樣使用原句的 “overestimate (高估)” 跟 “underestimate (低估)” 來對比
句子前後兩部分
2. 我把原句的 “the..of” 中間塞入不同的名詞
→ the outcome of (…的成效)
→ the power of (…的力量)
3. 最後我模仿原句一樣在句子後面使用 “形容詞+名詞” 的組合
→ big marketing campaign (大型行銷活動)
→ day-to-day content build-up. (日復一日的內容產出)
這句話我大概想一兩分鐘就寫出來了，
果然貼著模板照樣造句的力量無比強大～
