Meredith 在跟媽媽 Ellis 說話時
Ellis 自言自語的說 I used to be a doctor.
想請問一下
在這個情境下,使用下面兩種句子
所表達出的含意,有差異嗎
還是沒有差異,只是表達方式不同而已
1. I used to be a doctor.
2. I was a doctor

從朗文字典查詢 used to 的用法
其一如下
if a particular situation used to exist
it existed for a period of time in the past
but does not exist now
從用法描述來看,似乎跟過去式要表達的涵義相近
