[Talk] I have no idea about what happened?

I'm afraid that my friend is pissed off by my behavior.

Just a moment ago, my friend chatted with me on line and
he asked me about my current job(the new one) and my pay.
I just honestly told him the numbers without embarrassment
becuase I thought he was just a student who didn't care
how much I earned.

Suddenly, the atmosphere weighed down and he just didn't reply
to me and showed "Un-Read" and "Non-Response".

I think that's becuase my pay is so low as to make my friend
feel unhappy due to the important point that we cannot reveal.

Because that's a secret....

But, I obviously touched the least line towards my friend.

Actually I just think that no matter how low it is,
I am well noted what it means because throughout these years,
I have had nothing winned from my working career.

So, what should I do to make my friend feel better?
