[Talk] Poor English preparing IELTS

It's been so long time since i posted in ENGTALK board

and during this several years, i dropped my english.

so many things happened, i prepared GRE and TOEFL for study-abroad dream

but got failed due to economic things


getting master degree, finding job,

though i got 700up score in TOEIC 2years ago,

but actually i have NEVER studied any english since then,

and the worst of all,

this whole year i spent almost of my leisure time study japanese

and it is really a english destroyer


i've forgotten most of vocabulary and grammar already,

even writing this article becomes difficult for me.

maybe reading is still fine bot i cannot speak nor write


lately, my good friend wants to prepare for ielts test and invite me to join

we've been a team while learning japanese this year and that is his objection

also i want to revitalize my english abilities

but IELTS is not as easy as we thought, it will be a long and hard way

due to high application expense, i should take whole preparation before exam

but writing and speaking is difficult to practice

and most of i've learned is american-english while ielts test is eng-english


my friend doesn't have much time preparing

but i'm afraid that he is even worse at english than me

what can we do to prepare ielts in short time? it's apprehensive
