[Ask ] go to bed at regular hours

Hello guys,

I would like to writie an essay about sleeping disorder,

and I mentioned that my parents tried to get to bed at regular hours.

What I meant was they did not stay up late and would go to bed at a set time.

Does it make sense to you that I described it as "go to bed at regular hours"?

Or would you mind offering some advice?
