every time i feel lost or upset,
i go up to the balcony, and watch you guys
quietly sitting there, bathed
in the sun or in the rain.
I can't witness you growing on the scene,
but i know you do, bit by bit, day after day.
then i would feel refreshed and uplifted,
taking a while walking around, round and round.
then i go downstairs, with smiling self, full of joy.
