MP & Silva continues its winning streak of securing top-flight football
content, with the announcement today of the English Premier League live
audiovisual broadcast rights across all platforms, in East and Southeast
Asia, including Live Matches and Clips Packages. The leading international
sports agency, which has the strongest portfolio of football media rights
globally, has secured a deal for the exclusive distribution rights of the
prestigious English Football Premier League in seven broadcasting
territories, composed by 28 countries across Japan, South Korea, Vietnam,
Pacific Islands, Taiwan, Philippines and Mongolia for three seasons from
2016/17 to 2018/19.

The deal underlines MP & Silva's strong presence and expertise in the
Asia-Pacific region, and its strong network of partnerships with major
broadcasters. The agreement covers major markets including Japan, which is
the fifth biggest TV market worldwide; South Korea, which has an increasing
audience due to the rise of young talents; and Vietnam, where EPL is the most
sought-after international sports content.

Currently, 2.7 billion viewers around the world watch the English Premier
League and the Asia and Oceania region makes up more than 38% of that total
figure.

簡言之就是MP & Silva這次大進補，一口氣吃下了英超新一輪海外轉播權當中，
日本（！）、韓國（！）、越南（！）、太平洋群島、台灣（！！！！！！！）、
菲律賓、蒙古等地的全平台全形式（直播賽事 + 賽事精華）英超轉播總經銷權

（新一輪的海外轉播權將跟英國本地轉播一樣自2016-17賽季起算，至2018-19賽季止）

不負責任推估MP & Silva原本只是想爭取日韓和越南的英超轉播權，
結果發現英超聯二一添作五把其他地區包來一起賣了就欣然接受一起買下來XDDD
