Mariners placed OF Austin Jackson on the 15-day disabled list with a right
ankle sprain.
Advice: Jackson suffered the injury when he landed on first base awkwardly
during Sunday's game. It's not clear at this point how long he'll be
sidelined. Justin Ruggiano is in line for a bump in playing time while
Jackson is on the shelf.
