Anthony Rendon (knee, oblique) played three innings Tuesday in a simulated
game.
Advice: Rendon even stole third base at one point in the game, which manager
Matt Williams took as a sign that he's finally "uninhibited" by his oblique
and knee injuries. Rendon should be ready to make his 2015 debut late next
week if he's able to avoid further setbacks. The 24-year-old hit
.287/.357/.473 with 21 home runs, 17 stolen bases, and 111 runs scored in 153
games last season for Washington.
