Mariners GM reveals injured Jean Segura could miss as much as two months

Once again, the Mariners have sustained an injury to a key contributor. This
time it's shortstop Jean Segura, who suffered an ankle injury on Thursday
against the Rockies and was subsequently placed on the 10-day disabled list.

Via Dave Mahler of Sportsradio 950 KJR, Mariners GM Jerry DiPoto says that
Segura could miss up to the next two months because of the injury. That's a
huge blow, to say the least. Through 43 games, Segura's batting
.341/.391/.462 with four home runs and 10 doubles. That's excellent
production for anyone, let alone a regular shortstop. In Segura's absence,
Taylor Motter will likely be the primary at shortstop.
