Phillies placed 2B Cesar Hernandez on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive
to June 10, with a left oblique strain.

Advice: Hernandez suffered the injury on Friday while making a throw. It
should knock him out until late June. Howie Kendrick will play second base
while Hernandez is on the shelf, and Michael Saunders should receive regular
at-bats again.
