2019年賽季，是Honda以PU供應商重返F1後，首度供應兩支車隊的第一年，同時也是相當
重要的一年。
對此，Honda決定將現任運動賽事本部長的 山本雅史，轉任Honda F1 Managing Director
，專門負責F1賽事事務，4月1日起正式上任。
原職務則將交由現任Honda de Mexico S.A. de C.V.社長的 清水宏 轉任。
