Sergio Perez to start US Grand Prix from the pit lane
Sergio Perez 正賽將從 Pit lane 起跑
Racing Point's Sergio Perez had a triumphant home race in Mexico after
finishing 'best of rest' - but he'll have his work cut to score points
in Texas having failed to stop to weigh his car in FP2.
Racing Point 車隊的 Sergio Perez 在家鄉墨西哥站拿下地球組冠軍，但他在FP2
因為沒有停車秤重導致他將把目標放在進入積分圈。
Perez will start Sunday'srace from the pit lane, having been summoned to
the Stewards to explain he incident after the second practice session at
the Circuit of The Americas.
在COTA的第二段自由練習結束之後，Perez 被傳喚到 Stewards 解釋這起事件(未停
車秤重)，並且正賽將從pit lane 起跑。
They reviewed video evidance and heard from Perez - but he was ultimately
found to have failed to stop for the weigh bridge in FP2.
他們(應該指Stewards)檢視了影片並聽了 Perez 的說法，最終仍然認定他在FP2沒有
到秤重區停車秤重的事實。
"Instead, he drove on and proceeded to do a pit stop where the car was
worked on by lifting the car and all four wheels were changed, in breach of
Article 29.1 a," read the Stewards' statemaent.
根據 Stewards 的說明："他沒有停車反而繼續往前開並做了 pit stop -- 將車撐起並
更換四個輪胎，已經違反第 29.1 a 條款"
"The penalty imposed is a madtory penalty specified under the Formula One
Sporting Regulations and the Stewards note that they have no discretion to
impose an alternative penalty."
"根據 Formula One Sporting Regulations 這項懲罰必須強制執行，並且 Stewards
表示沒有調整的空間。"
Perez finished 15th in FP2 - ahead of Kimi Raikkonen - as Racing Point aim
to overtake Toro Rosso in the constructors' standings, both teams eqaul on
points going in to the US GP.
Perez 在FP2的成績排在第15位——排在 Kimi Raikkonen 之前——而 Rocing Point
正努力想超越目前車隊積分相同的 Toro Rosso 。
