Yes, you can encourage change in the world by investing in companies that
meet ESG criteria. But at costs:
1. ESG portfolios have lower expected return
2. ESG portfolios are less diversified
3. ESG funds have higher expense ratio

如果你願意為你的信念付出每年可能輸total market 1.5%以上的代價
那麼挑選ESG 標的，最重要的考量大概不是"內扣費用較低"
而是該標的所收錄的ESG，是否真的符合你的信念
ESG的定義，各個機構間差別頗大
如果只看名字中有ESG就以為都一樣
搞不好會買到跟你的觀點嚴重衝突的標的而不自知
(隨便舉例...核能到底算不算綠能？)
如果你研究的結論是某個ESG非常符合你的觀點
好像也不見得要受限於英股
