David Lee did his best to avoid taking any sneak peeks
at the championship ring that awaited him Friday night.

David Lee在拿到自己的冠軍戒之前，一直盡力避免看到戒指的樣子。

He saw a few glimpses on Instagram,
but otherwise was waiting to be surprised for the moment
in which he finally received it.

他在IG上撇了幾眼，但其他時間他一直在等著頒戒指給他的時候的驚喜。

Stephen Curry did the honors of dishing out Lee's ring
before Friday's game with the Dallas Mavericks,
with the reigning MVP making a brief speech
following a 90-second tribute video, set to Green Day's "Time of Your Life."

Curry在對小牛的比賽之前，負起頒戒指給Lee的榮譽責任。
典禮包含Curry的一小段發言，還有一段90秒的特製短片，
配樂是Green Day的「Times of Your Life」。

"He helped change the culture here,"
Curry said of Lee's five-year run with the Warriors,
"and in that five years, it all led up to this ring right here."

Lee then joined Curry at center court
and immediately placed his shiny new piece of jewelry on his finger.
He received a loud ovation during the presentation,
as well as a 20-second standing ovation
when he was announced with the Mavericks' starting lineup.

This was the first trip back to Oracle Arena
since the NBA Finals last year for Lee,
who was traded to the Boston Celtics in the offseason
and recently joined the Mavericks.
He made his first start since joining Dallas,
who played without starters Chandler Parson (season-ending knee injury),
Dirk Nowitzki (rest) and Deron Williams.

Lee在去年球季結束之後被交易到賽爾提克，最近加入小牛。

"I'm not going to be a guy that's going to lie to you
and say that it doesn't mean a lot to me,"
Lee said before the game of the anticipated ceremony.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr was among those
looking forward to the pregame moment.
"I'm thrilled for him," Kerr said before the game.
"David helped us with that championship in a year
when we asked him to take a back seat
and so he handled his role extremely well.
Came in during the Finals when we needed him and really came through."

Lee missed the start of last season with a hamstring injury
and ended up being limited to 49 games
and four starts after Draymond Green emerged into the player
that turned into an All-Star this year.

去年球季剛開始的時候，Lee因為韌帶傷勢而缺陣，整季也只能上49場比賽。
在Green崛起(並在今年成為全明星)之後，Lee去年也只能先發4場。

Lee, who was an All-Star himself for the Warriors in 2013,
had to learn to embrace that reserve role.
"I gained a lot of respect for guys that are able to be career guys
at the end of the bench," Lee said.

Lee在2013年曾代表勇士參加明星賽，但今年他必須學會接受替補的角色。

The way he handled his back seat role was praised all last season
and he spoke to why it was important for him to handle it that way.

"I've been an All-Star twice, scored 10,000 points,
done some pretty cool individual things," Lee said.
"The legacy that I'm going to leave in this game
and what kind of attitude I have toward the game
and being a positive guy to my teammates,
that became more important to me than what my points and rebounds looked like.
That was the first time in my career I can probably say that."

Lee：「我曾2次入選明星賽，生涯得分1萬分，也有一些很酷的個人表現。
跟我的得分還有籃板數據相比，
我想在比賽中留下什麼傳奇、我對比賽的態度，還有做一個有正面影響的隊友重要的多。

Lee celebrated the title last year
by treating the whole team to a trip to Las Vegas,
complete with a charter flight.

Lee去年奪冠之後招待全體隊友去拉斯維加斯玩，最後還坐專機回來。

"We won't be going on that trip after tonight's game
or guys won't be ready for the playoffs," Lee joked.
"The reason why we won a championship last year is we did it as a team
and there were guys that made sacrifices, there were guys that stepped up,
there were guys that did big things all year long.
We won it as a team and I thought the only way to celebrate it was as a team."

Lee：「今天比賽完不會去做那種旅遊了，不然大家沒辦法為季後賽做準備。
去年我們會奪冠是因為我們是一個團隊：
有些人做出犧牲、有些人站出來、有些人整整一年都做出重要的貢獻。
我們用團隊表現贏得冠軍，所以我覺得我們也應該全隊一起慶祝。」
