題目的因果關係:
原因 (例子)
Colson (non discount store) 開幕之後，因為競爭而倒閉的商家，
其位置還是陸續被新的商店取代。
結果 (預測)
所以 Spendless (discount store) 開幕之後，因為競爭而倒閉的商家，
位置也不會空太久 (可馬上被取代)
Weaken 答案 (B)
在 Colson 開幕之後，新開的商店都為 discount stores
作者單純以”Colson”的例子，來暗示 “Spendless” 的例子也將會是一樣。
然而，如果被 Colson 趕走的商店，取而代之的是 "discount stores”。
但在 Spendless 開幕之後，這些 discount stores 將會倒閉，
並無法再有其他類型的商店出現。
至於妳提到的問題，要怎麼確認"絕對不會有其他類型的商店"。
在這裡只能說，一般而言，一個 nondiscount store 趕走了一般商店，
來的都是 discount stores 之後。
當來了更強大的 discount stores，當然就更難再以更低價的 store 來競爭了。
我個人認為這是 OG CR 題，兩個我覺得不是非常喜歡的題目
(另外一題為催眠耳聾題)，因為的確是會讓人有遐想空間，
是否還可以如 Colson 的例子一樣，有新型態的商店繼續出現 (如您所想的一樣)。
但以一般認知: nondiscount store
--> discount store
--> ???? 這裡是比較難找到可以做延伸的商店思考。
在這裡再做兩個點提醒:
1. Weaken 並不是要給題目作一個 "完美、絕對的批判"，
而是對題目有扣分作用，即有可能為答案。
而答案 (B) 的確有給這個例子做了一個扣分作用，還算合理。
2. 當答案不完美的時候，你也可以做反向思考，"是否有其他答案更完美?”
很顯然，其他答案都明顯錯誤。所以還是只能選 (B)
OG 的 Instruction 也明白指出:
“In these questions, you are to analyze the situation on which each question
is based, and then select the answer choice that most appropriately answers
the question.”
--> 重點: 沒有絕對正確答案，只有最好的正確答案
"If the correct answer is not immediately obvious to you, see whether
you can eliminate some of the wrong answers."
--> 重點: 當答案不明顯時，先消掉明顯的錯誤答案
所以，與其花太多時間，討論你懷疑的答案，不如去思考是否有其他更好的答案吧。
最後，你說的類比例子不成立，我是不大瞭解這句話的意思，
基本上例子是一定正確(為事實)，問題是出在是否可以 apply to the prediction。
