以下提供幾個GMAT商業用語的簡單定義
profit = revenue - cost (spending)
revenue = unit price x quantity
cost = unit cost x quantity
而price則被demand與supply共同決定
: 想請教一下A選項為何是錯誤的？
: 若advertising spending 上升 也會導致revenue 相對減少
spending不算在revenue內，因此是無關選項。
從這邊延伸出去，補充一個GMAT邏輯的大考點－－動態平衡
只要講到跟錢有關的東西，幾乎都是在premise說收入/支出 增加/減少
最後說利潤一定會增加/減少
這時候我們只要去想另外一邊是否有變動，便可找出相關答案
以下舉幾個過去整理機經所遇到的動態平衡題：
1. 填空-酪農業（2015-04機經）
儘管牛奶加工商跟養奶牛的酪農收購原奶(unprocessed milk)的價格上升了,
但酪農卻沒有賺取更多的利潤,因為_______。
填空 Ans:
乳牛吃的草料價格上升了。
2. 假設-房價上漲（2015-04機經）
某地過去幾年的房價不斷上漲,且人口也不斷上升。
專家預測該地在未來幾年人口會不斷上升,因此房價應該也會不斷上漲。
假設 Ans:
房子的 supply 不會跟 demand 一起上升。
3.削弱-貿易逆差（2015-05機經）
某國在某段時間的貿易逆差減少了,這代表該國的鼓勵出口政策有收到成效。
削弱 Ans:
該段時間該國的進口大量減少。
