: 但還是無法理解 那informally related?? 為什麼追夢網上的翻譯好像少了相關的意思

先跟大家說一個觀念，雖然說做SC句意重要，
但其實不需要做到把每一個字都翻譯出來，這樣做題會太花時間。
當然在此，可當作練習，瞭解詳細句意是一個很好的練習
詳細句意 (供解說參考以及回答原 po 問題)：
Kwakiutl認為有一個社群單位比部落還要重要：
聯邦同盟，是一個沒那麼緊密的結合，不正式的連起鄰近的部落，
這些聯邦同盟和同盟內的部落互動，比和其他部落互動來的少
考試句意：
K人覺得有個東西比tribe還重要叫做C (confederacy) - which was (同位語),
為一個非正式的鄰近部落 (who) interacting with.........
困難點：
這題的其中一個考點在於到底後面interact這句話是在說誰？
"interact with themselves" 指的應該就是部落 (tribes) 的互動
但即使不知道句意，也知道層級應該如下圖所示
confederacy (a cluster of tribes)
/ \
tribe tribe
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
interacting
在考場用邏輯判斷，就知道這 interacting 是在敘述 tribes
簡單句意分析完之後，可搭配基本文法規則解題
而用逗號 interacting 的分詞修飾，無法清楚的指代 tribes
(http://goo.gl/QsfmUx OG 12 #1 的錯誤答案 C 就是一個好範例)
所以在 tribes 後面接上 who 為正確的選擇
接下來，可以直接使用平行 (with.....more than with)
選出答案 (C)
所以在考場，就是簡單句意 (如此題的 interact 修飾對象)，
搭配基本的文法規則 (who or comma + ving, 平行) 選出正確答案
這就是一個不錯的題目示範
