標題[計量] 一題計量請教

A table of data had 36 entries arranged in 9 rows and 4 columns. A computer
program randomly deleted exactly one entry in each row. If the column had the
greatest number of entries deleted, what is the least number of entries that
could have been deleted in that column?
(A) 2
(B) 3 (C) 4 (D) 5 (E) 6
我對題目的理解如下圖

--------------------- deleted: 這個greatest number就是9
| | | | |
--------------------- 因為一欄最多只有九列

--------------------- deleted in that column就不懂了

--------------------- 原本最多可以砍掉9格 怎麼又問最少可以砍幾格????
