There are reports of an active shooter near a golf course in San Bernardino, C
alifornia, with possibly 20 victims.
An ABC affiliate tweeted that there are 12 fatalities, but police have not
confirmed that number.At least three suspected shooters vanished from the building after the
gunfire, the source said.
Police on the scene were assembling a battering ram to gain access to the
building, and investigators may believe one suspect was still inside,No arrests
have been made yet.
"We don't know where those shooters are," police Sgt Vicki Cervantes says.
"They are heavily armed and they are possibly wearing body armour, things of
that nature. It is not a safe area to be, it's very dangerous. The fewer
innocent people we have in here, the better"
President Barack Obama has been briefed by Homeland Security Adviser Lisa
Monaco about the shooting in San Bernardino and has asked to be updated on
the situation as it develops, according to the White House pool report
The San Bernardino shooting would be the second mass shooting today and the
355th this year...
