Russia has won the war in Ukraine, right-wing Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor
Orban said on Tuesday ahead of a summit between U.S. President Donald Trump an
d his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Friday.

In power since 2010, Orban has been criticised by some European leaders for hi
s government's ties with Russia and opposition to military aid for Ukraine, wh
ile his cabinet is struggling to revive the economy from an inflation shock.

美國總統唐納德川普與俄羅斯總統弗拉基米爾普京將於週五舉行峰會，在此之前，匈牙利
右翼總理維克托毓羉葛Z週二表示，俄羅斯贏得了烏克蘭戰爭。

自2010年執政以來，奧爾班一直因其政府與俄羅斯的關係以及反對對烏克蘭進行軍事援助
而受到一些歐洲領導人的批評，而他的內閣正在努力使經濟擺脫通膨衝擊。

Orban, who has maintained close ties with Putin even after Russia's February 2
022 invasion of Ukraine, became the only European Union leader on Monday not t
o endorse a joint statement saying Ukraine should have the freedom to decide i
ts future.

"We are talking now as if this were an open-ended war situation, but it is not
. The Ukrainians have lost the war. Russia has won this war," Orban told the '
Patriot' YouTube channel in an interview.

即使在俄羅斯於 2022 年 2 月入侵烏克蘭之後，奧爾班仍然與普京保持密切聯繫。週一
，他成為唯一一位不支持聯合聲明的歐盟領導人，該聲明稱烏克蘭應該有決定其未來的自
由。

奧爾班在接受“愛國者”YouTube頻道採訪時表示：“我們現在談論的好像是一場永無止
境的戰爭，但事實並非如此。烏克蘭人輸掉了這場戰爭，而俄羅斯人贏了。”

"The only question is when and under what circumstances will the West, who are
 behind the Ukrainians, admit that this has happened and what will result from
 all this."

Hungary, which gets most of its energy from Russia, has refused to send weapon
s to Ukraine, with Orban also strongly opposing Ukraine's EU membership, sayin
g it would wreak havoc on Hungarian farmers and the wider economy.

Orban said Europe had missed an opportunity to negotiate with Putin under form
er U.S. President Joe Biden's administration and now was at risk of its future
 being decided without its involvement.

“唯一的問題是，烏克蘭背後的西方會在何時、何種情況下承認這件事發生，以及這一切
會導致什麼結果。”

匈牙利的大部分能源來自俄羅斯，因此拒絕向烏克蘭運送武器，奧爾班也強烈反對烏克蘭
加入歐盟，稱這將對匈牙利農民和整體經濟造成嚴重破壞。

奧爾班表示，美國前總統拜登執政期間，歐洲錯過了與普京談判的機會，現在歐洲的未來
面臨在沒有歐洲參與的情況下被決定的風險。

"If you are not at the negotiating table, you are on the menu," Orban said, ad
ding that he partly opposed the EU's joint statement on Ukraine as it made Eur
ope look "ridiculous and pathetic."

"When two leaders sit down to negotiate with each other, the Americans and the
 Russians ... and you're not invited there, you don't rush for the phone, you
don't run around, you don't shout in from the outside."

奧爾班表示：「如果你不坐在談判桌上，你就在菜單上」他還表示，他部分反對歐盟對於
烏克蘭的聯合聲明，因為這讓歐洲看起來「荒謬而可悲」。

「當兩位領導人坐下來談判時，美國人和俄羅斯人……如果你沒有被邀請，你就不會急著
打電話，你也無法四處奔走，你也無法在外面大聲反對。”
