[理工] 資料壓縮兩題問題請教

如圖，是IEEE standard specification for IDCT，
想請教關於圖的兩個問題：

1）
去除temporal redundancy 的觀念對應的動作為何？

2)
去除spectral redundancy 的觀念對應的動作為何？

知道remove的概念但是看不懂圖表達的意思，
請教
